Lansdowne Lightning Swim Team Information

The Lansdowne Lightning Swim Team is open to all Lansdowne on the Potomac children, ages 5 through 18 years old (as of June 15, 2009), who are Lansdowne on the Potomac residents and in good standing with the HOA. The Swim Team is not a learn to swim class -- children 8 and under must be able to swim one length of the pool (25 meters) unassisted; children 9 and older must be able to swim two lengths (50 meters) unassisted.

 
The Swim Team practices at the Coton Pool facility in the neighborhood. Until school is out, practices will be held in the evening. Once school is out, practices will be in the mornings. The following is a summary of practice times.  We will divide the times into age appropriate blocks depending on the number of swimmers registered in each age group.  Age group practice times will be posted before Memorial Day.
