It has come to our attention that many team members
may not be receiving AST e-mails due to the new mass e-mailing
system we are using. Many spam filters will not allow messages
that are being sent to more than a set number of folks at one
time.......and this apparently includes ACS and
GCI. Please check your spam filter settings to see if
this issue is affecting you.
ACS customers who have enabled the "Trap Line" will
not receive AST website e-mails unless they disable the “Trap
Lineý or place the sending e-mail addresses on the
“White Listý:
-
http://mymail.acsalaska.net
-
log in
-
select junk box to see if AST e-mails have been
trapped. (Currently these would be from fishhead@acsalaska.net or swimasap@gci.net)
-
if these have been trapped & you wish to receive future AST
e-mails…
-
select options
-
select e-mail filters
-
enter user name and password
-
either disable Trapline or add the above e-mails to the white
list.
GCI customers have “E-mail Guardý and
need to go through a similar process:
-
http://mygci.net
-
log in
-
select junk box to see if AST e-mails have been
trapped. (Currently these would be from fishhead@acsalaska.net or swimasap@gci.net)
-
if these have been trapped & you wish to receive future AST
e-mails…
-
select e-mail guard
-
either disable e-mail guard or add above e-mails to the approved
sender list.
If your e-mails are through other providers or
systems, you will need to either explore the home site to determine
where the filters might be located and how to adjust them or
contact their help desk for assistance.
