| Swimmer on BAT needs our support! | |

To everyone in the New England Swimming
community:
We, Belmont Aquatics Team ( BAT ) have a swimmer,
Anthony Brescia-Connell (age 17), who was
diagnosed with a brain tumor in December. Since that time, he
has been in the hospital and battling to recover. He is
receiving radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Last week he
went from Children's to the Spaulding Rehab center and was
receiving, in addition to the radiation and chemo, some intense
PT.
Yesterday, February 27, he began to have trouble breathing and was
brought back to Children's. He is now stable and an
assessment is being done..
With Anthony being a member of the NE swimming community, we would
ask that you please pray for him, in whatever your form of prayer
is, and send him positive thoughts. It will help!
If you would like to receive updates and/or send messages of
support to the family, to register go to https://www.lotsahelpinghands.com/c/635368/
and fill out the right-hand side of the form which is a Request to
Join the Community.
Thanks from Anthony's team, and, if you would like to help in any
way, please contact Ev Crosscup, head coach of Belmont Aquatic
Club, at: ecrosscup@aol.com
