JANUARY SWIMMER OF THE MONTH
Connor Green, a member of the Bluefish Swim Club, has been swimming competitively for 9 years and counts the backstroke and I.M. events among his most favorite, while the 50 free remains his least favorite event. Connor Green recently took down Olympian, Erik Vendt’s, record in the 13-14 400 IM, set in 1995, by posting a 4:42.71. This time beat Erik's by over 2 seconds! His coach, Chuck Batchelor, states that Connor is a tireless worker in practice and a ruthless competitor at meets. He's the epitome of what it means to be an up and coming star in swimming. Congratulations Connor!
