More New England Records fell these past two weeks in both relays and individual events!
Liam Egan, from Crimson Aquatics, keeps knocking down his own impressive 13/14 boy’s records in freestyle event. At the NCSA Junior Nationals in Florida, Liam set 3 more NE/RES records! He broke his own 200 yard Freestyle record by posting a 1:40.17, dropping 3 seconds off his previous record. He swam a 9:17.04 in the 1000 freestyle to break the record of teammate Kevin Bradley set last year, and, both he, and Kevin, broke the 1650 yard freestyle record, but Liam set the record by dropping 14 seconds to post a 15:29.79 to Kevin’s 15:41.29. CONGRATULATIONS LIAM!
EXETER SWIM TEAM’s(EST) 13/14 girls set a NE and NE-RES record this past weekend in the 200 yard freestyle relay. The team of Kyra Sarazen, Isabel Reis, Corrinne Noonan and Sophie Kenny swam a 1:39.09 to break two long standing relay records set by MVP in 2007. CONGRATULATIONS EST!
CHARLES RIVER AQUATIC’S (CRA) 13/14 boys are on an unstoppable track by setting two more NE-RES relay records while at the Southern Zone Sectional Speedo Championship Series. The team of Julian Asuaje-Solon, Christopher Downing, Duncan Mulleady and Aidan Oi broke both the 400 LCM Freestyle relay ( 3:49.19), held by Crimson Aquatics, and the 400 LCM Medley Relay (4:16.86) held by the Bluefish Swim Club. It is pretty certain that we will be reading more about this team of boys in the upcoming LCM Season! CONGRATULATIONS CRA!
