Good luck to all swimmers participating in the MAKO meet this weekend! Please be at the meet no later than 7:45am.Make sure you check-in at the check-in desk and check-in with your coaches so they know you're there! The coaches will be ****. The meet will be held at the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center, located at 16200 Condit Rd, Morgan Hill, CA 95037-9598. The meet sheet can be found here: sheet contains directions, location, other information about the meet, etc.)

7/1-3: Napa/Age Group Open @ Napa Canceled!!!
Please note that we have canceledthe Napa Age Group Open meet. We found that this meet is going to be short course and prefer to keep the swimmers in long course mode for our short summer season! You are still welcome to attend, however, there will be noSCSC coaches in attendance.

SCSC Swim-a-thon!
SCSC's major fundraiser this year is just around the corner, the 2011 Swim-a-thon will be held on May 7 from 8am-10am. We are hoping for 100% participation by all SCSC families. Donation envelopes will be available from your coach or in the swim office as of April 4,  we will also have an option to donate online.

JO Meet Update
Apologies and congratulations to Katharine Lee for making her 100 back Far Western cut. Great job Katharine!

SCSC Graduates Cap off Collegiate Season
Congratulations to Taylor Smith and Ryan Hinshaw for their recent performances at men’s NCAA D-1 Championships. Taylor, a senior at the University of Virginia, competing in his final NCAA Championship meet, finished 10th in the 1650 free with a time of 14:53.99. His school, UVA finished 8th and Taylor’s swim earned him All-American consideration. Ryan Hinshaw, a junior at Indiana University-Bloomington, competing in his first NCAA Championships, finished 16th in the 500 free with a swim that also earned him All-American consideration. Also congratulations to Eric Owens and Julius Espiritu for their performances at the men’s NCAA D-2 Championships. Both swimmers competing for the University of California-San Diego, helped lead their school to a second place finish. Eric finished 15th in the 100 back and 12th in the 200 back and was a member of his school’s 200 Medley Relay, which finished 9th and the school’s 400 Medley Relay, which finished 3rd. Julius swam on his school’s 800 Free Relay, which finished 5th. Great job SCSC grads, we are very proud of you!
