Safety at home, at school and on the streets is the subject of a new awareness campaign for young people sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department, in cooperation with a number of community agencies, including the Fullerton Police and Fire departments and the Fullerton School District, Boys and Girls Club of Fullerton, North Orange County YMCA and the Fullerton Aquatics Sports Team (FAST).

About the “Live S.A.F.E.” Campaign

During the past three months all participating organizations launched this new campaign to get kids more aware of street, fire, and water safety. Safety is such a crucial topic, but is usually overlooked as common sense. However, kids need to be taught the basics and fundamentals to ensure the highest level of safety. “Live S.A.F.E.” stands for Staying, Accident, Free, Everywhere. Over the past couple of months, kids were given tools to help them be safe and accident free.

The finale event will consist of:

  • Raffle Prizes
  • Student Performances
  • Resource Fair
  • Student Art Displays
  • Interactive Booths
