APRIL SWIMMER OF THE MONTH
RAINA WILLIAMS, from Crimson Aquatics, is a force to be reckoned with in and out of the pool. She is a straight A student, a soon to be brown belt in Kung Fu, and she plays the trumpet in the All-City Band in Cambridge. She made it back to the top 16 at 12 and Unders, her first ever championship meet, and her last ever race as a 12 year old. She has a compassionate spirit and a genuine interest in her teammate’s successes. She recently completed an essay stating her passion for swimming and the importance of parents and caregivers to have their children learn to swim. She is an excellent asset to Crimson Aquatic Club and her investment in the sport has truly evolved into her passion. Her commitment to training in the beginning of this long course season should reap great rewards for Raina and we cannot wait to see what she achieves in the future!
