The, required for the 2012 registration year, Athlete Protection Test (APT) (www.usaswimming.org/protect, is now available. This test is for all non-athletes; COACHES, OFFICIALS and OTHERS.

You can only take this test if you are currently registered with USA Swimming and in the SWIMS database. If you are a NEW to USA Swimming member, you must be registered with USA/NE Swimming first.

THE RESULTS of this APT test are automatically uploaded into the SWIMS database, so you an keep the generated certificate for your own files. You do not need to send that to the Registrar of New England Swimming.

This test is free of charge, but does take about one hour to finish. You can leave the test and log back into it, but only using the SAME COMPUTER.
