The New England All-Stars Team has shared a great deal of success the past two years traveling to North Carolina to compete in the inclusion meet hosted by the North Carolina Aquablazers.  Last year’s swimmers represented New England Swimming were teams from; Boston Elite Swim Team, Cape Cod Swim Club, Greenwood Memorial Swim Club, Dorchester House, Yawkey Boys & Girls Club and North Shore Swim Club finishing in fourth place with thirty six swimmers and retaining the coveted Team Spirit Award.

The New England All-Stars team (NEAS) is a travel team comprised of USA Swimming registered members of New England Swimming (NES).  All members of NES are ENCOURAGED to make application to compete with NEAS team this Memorial Day weekend.

To participate as a member of the NEAS team, New England swimmers must have at least 2 short course regional qualifying times or a letter of recommendation from their coach and complete an application. Please complete and submit applications electronically to neallstarsswim@gmail.comby the deadline , April 15^th to be considered.  Submit your intent to register by April 6th. This meet is expected to be full and the meet entry deadlines must be adhered to, thus there will beno exceptions to the swimmer application deadlines.

 Expenses:  A deposit of 50% is due by Thursday, April 15^th at 9:00 PM.  The total cost of the trip must be paid by Monday, April 30^th at 9:00 PM.  The cost is $500.00* which pays expenses for the bus, a portion of the equipment, lodging and meet entry fees. Checks should be made payable to New England Swimming. NO swimmers may participate in the meet without full payment in advance.  Outreach swimmers should contact the Team Manager at neallstarsswim@gmail.com.

Volunteers:The NEAS team depends on volunteers to assist with many facets of the team organization. While we will need chaperones to help with swimmers at the meet, we also need other people to help coordinate many aspects of the meet prior to the athletes leaving for Cary, NC. We would like to have parents volunteer to do certain tasks, such as organize and distribute equipment, coordinate fundraisers, and assist with media. All funds raised will be used to offset each participant’s total cost.  If you would be willing to help in some way, please email Team Manager at neallstarsswim@gmail.com. Your job could be as simple as a few phone calls and emails, but it would go a long way.   Parent volunteers are required from each team attending to assist the Aquablazers in running an efficient meet.  Sign-up sheets for meet assignments will be distributed in the application packet.
