Zach McAllister set another America's record today at the Paralympics in the 100 m Freestyle S8 event. Coming in 10th he did not qualify for the finals, but took 2 seconds off his best time posting a fast 1:02.88 time. This is McAllister's second America's record, meaning he holds the fastest time in those events in North and South America.
McAllister trained with LASC under Coach Mike Pinder before
moving to the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns in the last
year. He is one of 24 Canadians representing Canada in
swimming at the Paralympics in London 2012. The full list can
