Zone 1 South Meets Only
We have taken all NON–Zone 1 South meets off our meet schedule. This decision was due to the fact that any Non Zone meets SCSC enters, we must provide Swim Officials to help with the operations of the meet. Since we currently do not monitor or assign meet officials, we are removing these meets from our schedule. So, please do not enter any meets that are not in Zone 1 South. Thank you for your understanding on this matter. If you have any questions please contact Dave Meck at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have done any volunteering or timing, please note that your hours cannot be entered until October, when all the group changes have been made in the system. Thanks for your patience.

- Dennis Waitley

Blue Bells - boys
Gold Boys Swimmers & Parents,
I would like to introduce myself and express my excitement to be coaching the Gold Boys here at SCSC! I spent the past eight years coaching competitively, most recently at Tucson Ford Dealers Aquatics as the Head Age Group Coach and as a volunteer coach for the University of Arizona. My philosophy is to create a healthy and safe environment in which athletes feel comfortable taking risks and accepting personal changes to achieve the next level of swimming excellence. I am personally motivated to share my passion for swimming and commitment to specific techniques with all athletes.
I am excited to have the opportunity to work with the outstanding staff at Santa Clara Swim Club and very eager to carry on the very proud swimming tradition that has been established here in Santa Clara! Please feel free to approach me after practice or by email if you have any further questions.
- Coach Caleb Fenner
Blue Bells - girls
What a great meet we had last weekend! Special Congratulations for all of the girls who achieved new JO's times in the 1650. Swim meets provide you with a great opportunity to get to know your teammates and learn more about strategy and racing!
Great job with the intersquad meet last Friday. It’s great to see us racing so well in late September. We have one more week of stroke clinic so let’s get ready for some Butterfly! Monday, October 1st we will be releasing our new rosters. Look for an email from your Yellow Bell coaches early this week.
Awesome job to those of you who swam at the intersquad meet on Friday. All of your hard work during stroke clinic is definitely paying off! We have one more week of stroke clinic so keep up the good effort!
Gilroy Gators Meet Recap
Great job to all swimmers who participated in the Gilroy Gators meet this past weekend! For many, it was their first meet of the season and we still had some really great swims! *Time recaps to come next week!
Congratulations to Nicole Oliva from Blue Bell Girls. She was awarded the Johns Hopkins University’s Award for High Honors for being among the highest scoring participants in the country in the 2012 academic year. Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth challenges students to take an above-grade-level test, and out of the 28,000 students selected to take the test, less than thirty percent of students achieved a test score as high as Nicole. Great job Nicole! Keep up the excellence in the pool and in the classroom!
