Make sure to read the Bitter Truth this week!
Senior 1
High School swimmers must enter either Saturday or Sunday for JO’s at SCSC March 16-17.
Senior 2
The new and improved Senior 2 group continues to flourish! Attendance is up. Times are down. Intervals are faster. Effort is greater. Technique is improving. Enthusiasm is off the charts! We have developed more swimmers to move up to Senior 1 this early in the season than ever before. Move ups require a minimum of 2 FW cuts; so far this season we’ve moved: Paola, Kendall, Kristen, Mark, and Kelley. And, there are those who have already achieved a Far Western cut are confident will make their move soon - Rahul, Sean, Tyler, Chinmay, Aditia and Sandhana.
As we focus on technique and conditioning, the entire level of performance of our group has greatly improved on all fronts in recent months. Plus, we’ve been conducting one-on-one meetings with each swimmer to discuss goals and objectives; both long term and short term, as well as strategies to achieve those goals.
Our group is making quantum leaps forward; we have more energetic and focused swimmers than ever! Keep up the great work, Senior 2’s!

Yellow 1/2
In the past few weeks, the Yellow Bell coaches have encouraged parents to help their swimmers to learn their best times. Thanks to all who have helped in this effort. Coaches and parents at this age are encouraged to work cooperatively to help in the development of your swimmer. Parents are to parent and coaches are to coach. Thanks to those who are working to let their swimmer find their own way in the sport with supportive parents who understand the importance of the role of the coach. Swim fast, Yellow Bells!!!
