The first wave of
the recruiting season is almost over and four of the club’s
seniors have selected their future college destinations. Brandon
Shilling will be headed to University of California Santa Barbara
next fall after entertaining scholarship offers from Cal-Poly,
University of Michigan and University of Virginia. Stephanie Wei is
headed off to Houston, Texas and Rice University. She was also
heavily recruited by the University of Kentucky, Harvard, and the
University of Minnesota. Maddie Takaki will be going to the
University of Minnesota, after visiting Indiana
University-Bloomington and the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Finally Morgan Lee is off to University of California Davis, after
taking visits to San Diego State and University of California
Congratulations to each of these seniors for there selections and for working so hard these past years to be offered scholarship opportunities for next year. We look forward to monitoring their future successes in college and the best of luck now, next year, and into the future for each of them. There are still other seniors who are going through the process and when they decide, further updates will be passed along to the membership.
