Zack McAllister broke the Canadian & Americas records in the 50 and 100 Free for the S8 division en route to placing 6th and 7th respectively. Zack's 100 (1:01.97) knocked almost a full second off his record from the London Paralympics and he claimed the 50 for the first time. Zac had his best placing with a 5th in the 400 Free.
Canadian Senior Nationals - Montreal, July 17-20 - First Senior National Title for Nicol!
We had three LASC swimmers representing us at Senior Nationals and they all had their best ever placing at nationals. Rachel Nicol had a great meet winning her first ever senior national title in the 100 Breast and adding silver in the 200 and bronze in the 50. Rachel's 50 and 200 were LASC records. Leah Troskot made the big final at nationals for the first time and placed 6th in the 50 Free, also in a new LASC club record. Leah just missed the A final in the 100 Free winning the B final for 11th place. David Errington had his best ever senior national placing with 13th in the 50 Breast and also made the B final in the 100 Breast.
