One current and one former LASC swimmer have qualified to represent Canada this summer by competing at the Canadian Trials this past week in Victoria, BC.
Current LASC 15 year old swimmer Kaelan Freund will swim in Nanjing, China at the second Youth Olympic Games as a National team member in August. He was named to the 8 person Junior National team (4 girls, 4 boys) by Swim Canada at the conclusion of the trials qualifying with 100 Breaststroke.
Former LASC member Kyle Troskot will attend the Pan Pacific Games in Australia also this August as a member of our Senior National team.
