The Episcopal Amberjax finished off the 2014 summer long course season with strong performances from all eight of our swimmers at the Florida Senior Championship in Fort Pierce. For the girl’s, Anisa Vashi (15) was 10th overall in the 200 breast while also achieving best times in three events.  Katherine Cameron (15) and Bethany Kendrick(16) were perfect for the weekend as they both were 5/5 best times in their swims. Haley Brown (18) had three best times with one of those being an exciting win in her 50 free swim-off. Her performance put her in the B Final of the event where she finished 15th overall.

On the boy’s side, Zach Karpus (16) was our highest finisher for the weekend as he finished in 4th place in the 100 breast and an 11th place in the 200 breast with personal best times in each. Speakman Smith (15) had two final swims placing 13th in the 100 breast and 16th in the 200 breast en route to four best times. .Kieran Wallace (16) swam to all best times in his five events while breaking the minute barrier for the first time in the 100 free. Sam Meyer (15) made the most of his one individual swim going out in a 100 fly best time as he dropped five more seconds in his 400 IM. Very proud of our Senior swimmers on a job well done.
