Highlights from the 2013-2014 Year
SCSC Swimmer Michael Messner broke the 17-18 Pacific Swimming
Record in the 800 Free.
SCSC won the Speedo Far Western Championships in August. (first time since the early 1990’s)
SCSC won the Speedo Pacific Swimming Junior Olympics in July.
SCSC finished 8thfor women and 9thcombined at USA Swimming Speedo Junior National Championships
Aidan Burns was selected to the USA Swimming junior Pan-Pac Championship Team competing in Maui, Hawaii starting on August 27th.
SCSC swimmers Bill Truong, Caitlyn Koo, Vivian wang, Cathy Teng, Nicole Oliva, and Virginie Qian represented Pacific Swimming at the North American Challenge Cup in Veracruz, Mexico.
SCSC swimmers Arushi Malik, Jeremiah Tandingan, Vineet Ranade, Timothy Chou, Adam Bouraoui, Gavin McGee, and David Noyes represented Pacific Swimming at the Western Zone Championships in Federal Way, Washington.
SCSC swimmer Lorenzo Martinelli was selected Hasty Swimmer of the Month for August by Swimming World.
Sophie Krivokapic-Zhou broke two team records, the 100 Fly (both the Senior and 18-Under) and the 200 IM (18-Under).
Michael Nunan broke the SCSC Senior Men’s record in the 200 Free.
Aidan Burns broke the SCSC 18-Under Men’s records in the 200 Free and 400 Free. He also broke the Pacific Swimming records for 15-16 in the 400 Free and 1500 Free.
Michael Messner broke the SCSC 18-Under Men’s record in the 400 IM. Michael also finished top 8 in the 400 Free and 800 Free at USA Swimming Speedo Junior Nationals.

National Championships and the
SCSC Women’s 400 Medley Relay finished 6thand the Women’s 800 Free Relay finished 8that the same meet.
SCSC finished 40th in the USA Swimming Virtual Club Championships for 2013-2014 Short Course Season
SCSC finished 24th in the USA Swimming Virtual Club Championships for 2013-2014 Long Course Season.
