Congratulations to WOW swimmer Travis Johns who set two North Carolina state records this month!
At the annual Fall States Invitational the weekend of December 7th through 9th, Travis set a new standard in the 100 IM with a time of 57.71. His new time breaks a seven-year standing mark of 57.74 set by Robert Padgett of the Greensboro Swimming Association.
At the Reindeer Meet the weekend of December 14th through 16th, Travis set a new state record in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:04.82. His new time breaks an almost two-year old record of 2:06.11 set by Evan Ashcraft of TEAM.
