Congratulations to everyone who competed in the NBAC 10 and Under Championships this past weekend. MAC had 3 swimmers who took home blue ribbons. Gaby Collins won the 7 year old girls 25 breaststroke; Sasha Shandrenko was the winner in the 6 year old girls 25 breaststroke; and Jackie Greeves finished first in two events - the 8 year old girls 100 and 200 freestyle. Great swimming!

MAC is considering attending the Mariner Spring Fling Meet (www.mdswim.org/Assets/MSC+April+Meet.doc), NOVICE SWIMMERS ONLY, SATURDAY SESSION ONLY. The meet will be held at the Gilman School in Baltimore on Saturday, April 4th. Entries are due to the host club by Friday so if you are interested in having your child swim, we MUST receive your entry form, along with a check for $21, by TODAY (please place in the meet entry folder). If we do not receive enough interest, we will not attend the meet and your entry fees will be held in your account for future use.
The meet notice for the EST Spring into Long Course meet ( www.mdswim.org/Top_Nav/Meets/2008-2009_Schedule_Results/The_Eagle_Swim_Team_Spring_Into_Long_Course_Swim_Meet.htm) scheduled for April 18-19, at the McDonogh School in Owings Mills, has been posted. This meet is open to all of our swimmers with long course times that are "BB" and slower. The fee for one day is $23 and two days is $43. All entries, along with a check to cover the fees, are due to the meet entry folder by noon on Saturday. If you have any questions as to whether your child should attend this meet, please speak to your child's coach.
The end of the year banquet will be held on Sunday, April 26th at 5:30 pm at Dutch's Daughter. Cost is $20 per person. Children under 3 are free. Questions about the banquet should be directed to Helene Williams at email@example.com at 301-607-6475. RSVPs are due to the Banquet folder by April 14th. There will be a slide show presentation at the banquet. Anyone interested in contributing pictures for the show should e-mail them to Terri Bush at firstname.lastname@example.org place them in the Bush folder by April 20th.
Jeb Beaver and Chris Kaplan will be running a stroke clinic for swimmers ages 6-13 of all abilities. It will take place on 4 Saturdays - April 25, May 2, May 9, and May 16th from 2:00-3:00 pm in the indoor pool at Hood. Cost is $60 per child. Don't forget, the entire team will be taking a break from April 1st through April 7th.
The practice schedule for today is as follows - Senior Red and Black from 4:00-6:30, Senior White from 5:45-8:00, Age Group II from 6:00-8:00, and Senior Prep and Masters from 8:00-9:00 all in the bubble. All of the Novice groups will swim in the indoor pool - Novice I from 4:30-5:30, Novice II from 5:30-6:30, and Novice III from 6:30-7:30. There is no practice today for Age Group I.
