The new MAC website is now online at

This is the MAC News for Thursday, September 6th.

The new MAC website is now online at (a link is also provided from the original site).  The MAC News (what you are reading now) will now be generated from the website.  All e-mail addresses on my mailing list have been entered in the system so you should receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your subscription to the MAC News.  Just follow the instructions and you will continue to receive your daily updates by e-mail.  For the next several days we are going to send the news both ways (so you'll get it twice) to be sure everything is in working order.  If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, simply go to and subscribe (see the box in the upper right corner of the page).  You will be able to manage your own subscription this way from now on.  At some point you will be able to subscribe to group specific "newsletters" in addition to the current team-wide news.  More information about this will be available soon.

Please be patient while we fine tune the new website and our procedures.  If you have any comments or corrections, please send them to
