This is the MAC News for Monday, December 1st.
If you are interested in becoming a Maryland certified swimming official, there are several opportunities coming up for you to attend a clinic. The first is tomorrow evening at 7:30 pm in Columbia. For more information, click here - www.mdswim.org/Assets/Forms/Officials/CAA+Clinic+Dec+3.pdf. There will also be two opportunities in Annapolis the weekend of the Christmas meet. The first is a Stroke and Turn clinic which will be held at the Arundel Olympic Swim Center on Saturday, December 13th at 4:00 pm. The second will be held on Sunday, December 14th at 4:00 pm, also at the Arundel Olympic Swim Center. This one is for those who are already certified Stroke and Turn judges who would like to take the next step and become a Starter. Don't forget, there are some practice schedule changes for several groups over the next 2 weeks, beginning today (click here - www.macswim.net/node/771). The practice schedule for today is as follows - Senior Red and Black from 4:00-5:30, Senior White swimmers attending the NBAC Christmas meet from 5:30-7:00, the rest of Senior White from 5:30-7:30 (with drylands), Age Group II from 5:30-7:15, and Senior Prep and Masters from 8:00-9:00 all in the bubble. Age Group I will swim in the indoor pool from 4:30-6:15.
