This is the MAC News for Friday, September 19th.
Don't forget, today's practice schedule has been modified due to Fair Day and the bubble raising - Senior White has already swum this morning and are asked to return this evening to help with the bubble prep. Senior Red and Black will swim from 4:00-5:00 PM and will be expected to stay to help with the bubble preparations until approximately 6:00. Age Group I will swim in the indoor pool at their normal time, from 4:30-6:15, and Age Group II will have the day off. There will be NO practice for any group on Saturday morning due to the bubble raising.
WE NEED AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE (INCLUDING PARENTS) AT THE POOL THIS EVENING BEGINNING AT 5:00 TO HELP WITH BUBBLE PREP. Saturday's activities will begin at 8:00 am. Don't forget to wear old clothes and shoes (Senior swimmers should be prepared to get in the water). If you are unable to come right at 8:00, please come when you are able. There is plenty to do once the bubble has gone up and we often don't have enough help for these jobs.
The Annual Maryland Swimming Officials Clinic will take place on SUNDAY from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm at UMBC. More information is available here - www.mdswim.org/Assets/Officials+Page/Clinics/Sept+21$!2c+2008.doc.
