The Robert J. Hogan Memorial Mini Meet is fast approaching and preparation of the 2008 Meet program is underway. The Hogan meet is MAC’s biggest fundraiser of the year, with a significant portion of our club's operating budget relying upon its proceeds. In addition, the profits help to keep our membership fees down as well as provide funding of pool maintenance and repair costs. Please help MAC by purchasing an ad for your family, OR, by securing an ad from a local business. An copy of the ad form is may be found here (www.macswim.net/files/fundraising_letterhead1.doc). Please contact Renee Hyrkas, firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
Sign up sheets for volunteer positions and concession donations for the Hogan Meet should be posted today. Remember, as stated in the team handbook: "Each family is required to supply a volunteer for two (2) sessions at the MAC-hosted meets regardless of whether of not your child is swimming in the meet. If your family absolutely cannot attend either of the meets, it is your responsiblity to make arrangements with the meet director (in this case, Fred Manning - email@example.com) to help with a job prior to or after the conclusion of the meet. Families who do not comply with this requirement (you must work 2 sessions) will receive supplemental billing after the meet with an assessment of $75.00".
