Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed in the Speedo Championship

This is the MAC News for Tuesday, March 25th.

Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed in the Speedo Championship Series meet (Sectionals) and in the NCSA Junior National meet in recent weeks.  Although MAC had no first place finishers at the Speedo meet, Margot Manning established new team records in 3 events - the 11-12 girls 50, 100, and 200 free.  Way to go!  Once the complete results are available, a recap of the junior national meet will be posted here.

Don't forget, the Novice groups will return to practice today in order to prepare for the NBAC mini meet this coming weekend.  Practice times will be normal, however, the practices will take place in the bubble rather than in the indoor pool.

On that same note, please be aware there have been some schedule changes for the meet that affect the afternoon sessions only.  Warm-ups for both the Saturday and Sunday afternoon sessions will begin at 12:00 pm and the meet will start at 1:00 pm.  NBAC is also looking for officials to help with the meet.  If you are interested, please contact Bill White at bwhite@greenspringfund.com.

The practice schedule for today is as follows - Novice I from 5:30-6:30 and Novice II and III from 6:30-7:30 all in the BUBBLE.  Practice resumes for all other groups tomorrow.
