Nicol to Budapest for World Championships

 
Nicol to World Championships!

Rachel won the 50 and 100 Breast at the Canadian Swimming Trials in Victoria, April 6-9 and qualified to swim for Canada at 2017 World Long Course Swimming Championships in Budapest this July.  Each of LASC's four swimmers placed top 10 in at least one event. 

  • Kaelan Freund returned from Penn St. and raced to 4th in the 100 Breast and 7th in the 50 Breast. 
  • Leah Troskot, back from SMU was 10th in the 50 and 12th in 100 Free. 
  • Pronghorn Scott Hunter also swam as LASC and placed 7th in 50 Fly and 13th in the 100 Fly.
