July 12, 2017
Notice: August 29, 2017 there will be a meeting of interested parties to discuss the renewed interest in building a new pool facility in Bellevue. Some of you may recall the efforts of the “SPLASH” group of a few years ago. This group has effectively disbanded and passed the torch to a new group of interested parents and swimming enthusiasts.
What: A Town Hall Meeting of interested people getting involved in the building of a new Aquatic Center in Bellevue.
When: August 29, 2017 at 6:00 PM
Where: The Bellevue Club
Who: Any enthusiast from any aquatic discipline who really wants to work to make this happen.
We believe we have a real opportunity to make this vision a reality. We need a broad spectrum of interest to ensure the ideas and interests of all aquatic disciplines are represented. We will have people there from Pacific Northwest Swimming, Diving, High School, Bellevue College, Univ. of Washington, and have invited local government representatives, both elected and appointed.
If you are just curious – we encourage you to skip this meeting. You are truly needed, and your time will come. If you are truly committed to being part of the solution for the pool space shortage on the Eastside, then this meeting is for you.
