Due to his achievements both in and out of the pool, TAYLOR GREY, from Green Mountain Aquatics (GMA), has been chosen as the July Swimmer of the Month, as well as the first recipient of the Mary T. Riddell Scholarship. His coach, Laura Matuszak, states “It was an honor and a pleasure to coach this fine young man. I am particularly proud of him for being chosen to attend the University of Virginia and for doing what it takes to be a part of such a high quality swimming program. I think that Taylor's leadership in the sport and leadership on our GMA team is best represented in his training, commitment and performance this summer. He earned three National cut times for the first time this summer. He achieved the 200 I.M. and the 100 Breast times at the New England Open Championship Meet and the 200 Breast time while swimming the event as a bonus race at National Championships in Irvine this summer. His constant determination to achieve his goals fueled the success of our entire team this summer. We are so proud of Taylor and so thankful that we were able to share in his developing swimming career!”
Congratulations Taylor, and we wish you the best of luck!
