The Jr. Pan-Pac Championships held in Kihei, Maui finished up Monday, August 30 with the 10K Championships. Jackson Partin competing for the USA Swimming Open Water squad finished 6th and scored for the USA on the men’s side. Jackson, along with Tristin Baxter, Harry Stephenson, Damarias Iriondo won the Open Water competition for the first time in the meet’s history for the United States. Jackson also competed in the pool events during the Jr. Pan-Pac Championships, swimming the 200, 400, and 800 Free. The USA team was comprised of some of the best 18 and under swimmers in the country and were competing against teams from Australia, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, and Mexico, and were comprised of the best swimmers 18 and under from these nations. USA Swimming won both the Women’s and Men’s and Combined title at this event.
