Elite Training Camp a Success for PNS

09/26/2011: The Elite Training Camp for swimmers with "2010 Junior Bonus Time Standards" was held this past weekend. The swimmers were very enthusiastic and very appreciative of having the opportunity of coming together as "one" under the banner of Pacific Northwest Swimming. Trever Gray (TSC) co-ordinated the event which had 51 participants. Andy Pym (BC), Joel Schweiger (WWA), and Ben Olszewski (SSC) assisted with the coaching duties. Each of the groups kept "moving" and exhibited a positive frame of mind during their sets. The swimmers were very receptive to the training sessions and enjoyed themselves so much that they really had FUN training "hard" with other "fast" swimmers in the PNS. There were many new friendships that develop over the three hours and many new "goals" set. This "opportunity" gives the swimmers another support system in their efforts to become "the best that they can be." The "Core Values" of Pacific Northwest Swimming are: Vision, Teamwork, and Excellence. Each of those "values" were achieved last Saturday. GREAT JOB! View the pictures from the Elite Training Camp
