Nutrition Talks Update
With the completion of our first set of group meetings, we'll now be moving into the final set of activities for this pilot program on nutrition.  
 
The next phase of workshops will be focuses largely on the rhythm clock that was introduced in the first workshops and the participants will be completing their own rhythm clocks during these sessions.  Workshop dates and schedules will be:  
 

Tuesday March 20th

Gold 5:30 – 6:00 pm

Bronze 6:00 – 6:30 pm

Silver – 6:30 – 7:00 pm

Saturday March 24th

9:30 – 10:00 am – Champs & Blue

10:00 – 10:30 am – SR Prep & Regional

10:30 – 11:00 am – SR1 & SRE

11:00 – 11:30 am – SR2

11:30 – 12:00 pm - Orange

 
Printed material is being prepared and will be posted on BCST.com (notice will be sent when it gets posted) and finally, an FAQ is being prepared. If any of you have questions you would like to have included in the FAQ's, please send them to me (Mike.Eggenberger@gmail.com) so that we can get them answered and posted on BCST.com.

For those looking for more information or specific programs for their own situations, there are many sources out there.  Onvo offers a 28 day program that is consistent with the material he has developed for us and follows a naturopathic approach.  Certainly USA Swimming has some good material as well available on USASwimming.org.  The Bellevue Club Wellness team has a program led by a registered dietitian.  There are many other resources that can provide more specific advice or recommendations for your swimmer and family.
