Swim Team News 8/5/12
Boys Prelims -
What a great job by our entire pool community hosting this event.
Many coaches from our neighboring teams said that it was one of the
best run championship meets that they had ever been to. It was
suggested that we should host a "big meet" every year.
Many parents stepped up to organize and help - even if they didn't
have kids in the meet! Our families, pool staff, and swimmers made
us all proud. Community building events like this remind us of why
this pool was built 53 years ago.
North Finals –
We had an exciting Northern Division Finals. After trailing Sand
Point for most of the meet, we finally caught up during the
Freestyle Relays. Kudos to our kids for the awesome effort! Here
are the final scores –
Aqua Club – 420
Sand Point – 409
Wedgwood – 292
Innis Arden – 262
Klahaya – 219
View Ridge – 197

Great job by all of our swimmers for pulling off this tremendous
accomplishment. We had 2-3 close meets this year and expect some
more next year! There are many teams in the SSSL on the rise with
us in their sights. Let’s keep up the good fight and keep
giving our best effort. Look for undefeated t-shirt
