GWOC JV Meet
The JV GWOC meet is this Saturday and all swimmers who did not swim GWOC this past weekend will be swimming in the meet. Please be sure to check your e-mail for entries and warm-up times.
We are in the championship portion of our season and the Elks are swimming and diving great!!! As stated in the team guidelines all families are required to volunteer 6 times so that we can run the meets that are at our pool which also serve as fundraisers. We have 3 more meets that we could really use your help with. We know work and other schedules might make it hard to commit but are asking you to please look at the website to see if you can volunteer. Without enough volunteers, we cannot run the JV GWOC which is one of the biggest meets of the season and the majority of our swimmers participate. We also need every parent to work sectionals as it is a Ohio High School tournament meet that premiers CHS. Also, you will not have to pay admission if you are working any portion of the meet, so come out and volunteer and get a front row seat to see your swimmer!
Can you please review your schedule and volunteer for the upcoming meets. If you need any help with the volunteer process, please feel free to e-mail [email protected] or call at 361-0949. In addition, I have included the step by step instructions on how to get into the website and volunteer.
VOLUNTEER JOB SIGN UP PROCESS:
1.) Go to the home page of the website (Elkswimanddive.com).
2.) Click on Events which is in the middle of the webpage navigation bar.
3.) Choose the Event you would like to volunteer for (ie. JV GWOC)
4.) Next to the Meet or Event will be a button for Job Signup. Click into the area and all options for volunteering will be listed.
5.) Check the appropriate box for the particular job you would like to sign up for and hit Signup.
6.) Another box will come up - please type in the name of the person doing the volunteering. You will then see your information appear next to the desired job. If you are signing up to time and both parents want to time you need to click two boxes (each box is just for one position).
Note: Empty boxes next to jobs mean they are available for signup. If you click on the job sign up button and it says that job sign up is not available (ie. pancake breakfasts) then just check back at a later time.
