BCST: New Swimmers & Water Test Information
For the 2014-2015 Swim Year.
The Bellevue Club Swim Team, like all other 'year-round' teams, relies a great deal on its membership to help shape the team for the upcoming seasons. We are looking for young kids who love swimming and love to compete.
Bellevue Club has a long history of providing a successful and fun environment where swimmers learn to become fast, while enjoying the process and developing positive life skills.
Before any new swimmers can join the BCST they will need to be water tested. The water test is used by the coaches to determine the ability level of the applicant and which training group they would be best suited for. In addition, while the water test is conducted there will be an informational meeting for the parents of the swimmers to learn about the BCST: its philosophy, programs, operating procedures, events, training schedules, fees, etc.
The dates for this summer’s Water Tests are:
- Thursday July 10 @ 1:00-2:00pm
- Thursday July 17 @ 1:00-2:00pm
Depending on the numbers, the water test process may take up to 1 hour.
No appointment is necessary.
Swimmers will be asked to swim all 4 competitive strokes as well as pass a prerequist training set. Swimmers will need to bring their suit, goggles and maybe a cap if desired. The Club will provide towels.
Our space is limited with Bellevue Club members and siblings of current swim team members given priority for open spots.
