CHS Swim and Dive Newsletter October 20, 2014


If you missed the swim suit order deadline, Kastaway will honor the same suit pricing until Monday, November 3rd, however you will now be charged shipping.  Call the store to place your order at 513-777-7967 and provide your home address for delivery.  This is the final date to place an order for the required team suit and have it delivered before the first meet. Order forms and pricing can be found on the team website.


The required warm up bag and jacket and other fun apparel for swimmers and parents can be ordered through Deuce Apparel at 433-3023 or stop in their store at 6300 Far Hills Avenue.  Items are pictured with pricing on our team website.  (The deadline has passed for ordering the required team jacket in time for pictures.)


If you are a new swimmer on the team, you are eligible for a one time $35.00 voucher towards the purchase of the warm up jacket and bag.  Contact Molly Hoffmann at [email protected] to obtain your voucher.



Volunteering is open!  If you have registered online and paid your Swim and Dive Booster Fee you can access volunteering now.

Every family needs to volunteer 6 times (including any CHS Athletic Booster volunteering).  The instructions to sign up for a volunteer slot are below.  Remember, every family must work at least one session at Classics and one session for the Sectional meets.  Each work session completed at the Sectional meet will give the family a free dinner at the banquet at Yankee Trace.  Sign-up early to get the sessions that are best for your schedule!


1.)    Go to the home page of the website (

2.)    Click on Events which is in the middle of the webpage navigation bar.

3.)    Choose the Event you would like to volunteer for (ie.  Coaches Classic)

4.)    Next to the Meet or Event will be a button for Job Signup. Click on the button and all options for volunteering will be listed.

5.)    Check the appropriate box for the particular job you would like to sign up for and click on Signup.

6.)    Another box will come up - please type in the name of the person (and a phone number) doing the volunteering. You will then see your information appear next to the desired job. If you are signing up to time and both parents want to time you need to click two boxes (each box is just for one position).  

Note:  Empty boxes next to jobs mean they are available for signup. If you click on the job sign up button and it says that job sign up is not available (ie. pancake breakfasts) then just check back at a later time.

Important Dates:

November 7th – First Practice and Pancake Breakfast – 5:15 – WTRC – Athletes

November 12th – OHSAA Mandatory Parent / Athlete Meeting – 6:30 – CHS Main Gym

November 22nd – Team Bonfire (see the Events section of the website for details)



All four Athletic forms (Emergency contact, physical, code of conduct and Concussion) must be turned into the athletic office prior to the first practice.
