Last week when we were battling to see who got a Pumpkin pie, Kim Williams was representing the USA in World Cup meets in Tokyo and Singapore. This is one of the perks for being on the JR National team, but unlike the JR Pan Pac meet she attended in Hawaii, this time she got to race swimmers over the age of 18, including members of the USA National team and world champions from other countries.
Kim had really good swims, but with the increased level of competition it was difficult for her to make finals. But on the last day in Singapore she squeaked into finals and managed to place 6th in the 200 Fly. Please click on this linkif you would like to watch the race.
As soon as Kim's jet lag and weeks worth of school work are gone, she will be writing a detailed account of her journey.
