• All MSA records must be achieved at a USA Swimming sanctioned meet. This will ensure that all our records were achieved under the same set of rules and regulations.
  
• Please keep in mind that the records are used as motivation and recognition of great swims. Help your swimmers understand that the goal is not to just try and chase a record, because this often causes them to lose sight of improvement. They may feel they have failed if they do not reach the record time, despite significant time drops in an event. This we want to avoid!
  
• Records will be updated as they are broken and posted online and on the bulletin board.
