Swim A Thon raises over $11,500!
Thank you SCSC families for your participation in our first annual team Swim-A-Thon!
The team raised over $11,500 in donations, $1500 over our first year goal. Way to go SCSC!
Our top fundraiser was Isabella Willis with $550 and honorable mention goes to Oriana Jalal at $500. Congratulations to the 50 swimmers who raised over $100 each.
Our top group fundraiser was Yellow Bell and they will be getting a pizza party!

4-16-2011 Congratulations Joe Wise!
SCSC swimmer Joe Wise was named to this summer’s 2011 U.S Pan Pacific Para-Swimming Championship team. Joe earned this honor from his performance at the US Paralympic Can-Am Meet held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, April 7-9, 2011.
3-9-2011 Congratulations SCSC College Swimmers
SCSC college swimmers Taylor Smith and Ryan Hinshaw have been invited to represent their respective Universities at this year’s NCAA Men’s Division I Championships.
Taylor, a senior at University of Virginia, has qualified each of his four years for the NCAA Championships and has earned All-American status as a member of UVA’s 800 Free Relay.
Ryan, a junior at Indiana University-Bloomington, will be making his first appearance at the Championship.
SCSC college swimmers Eric Owens and Julius Espiritu will be representing the University of San Diego-California in in the NCAA Division II Championships March 9th-12th.
Congratulations to each of these athletes and to all of the college swimmers for their excellent seasons
3-7-2011 White Bell BEAD Ceremony and Pizza Party
Thank you to all who were able to come out for our bi-monthly BEAD Ceremony and Pizza Party. It was a great time! Sign up for those meets, get those beads and join us for our next party on Monday, May 2nd.
2-28-2011 - Paintball Outing
The Blue Bells enjoyed a game of Paintball on Friday, February 25th. It was a great teambuilding event despite the cold. Thank you to coaches Erik and Broc for being such great sports when they were "targeted".
2-20-2100 - Results from Phoenix Winter Invitational
We had some GREAT swims at the Phoenix Winter Invitational last weekend. Congratulations to Aidan Burns as our SCSC Swimmer of the Meet. Aidan dropped 13 seconds in his 500 free to a 4:53, went a 1:58.8 in his 200bk, a 16:07 mile and a 2:01.57 in his 200 fly.
Our SCSC Swims of the Meet goes to Christiana Bridges, 18:10 to 17:15 mile, Charlotte Ruby 200 fly 1:59.4 and Sam Shimomura 15:39 to 15:24 mile!
The team came out 3rd overall and Russ Payne and Natalie Garland both won high point in their age groups.
2-10-2011 - SCSC Achieves Silver Medal Status for 2011
The USA Swimming Club Excellence results are out for 2011 and SCSC again achieved silver medal status for its accomplishments as a club at the highest levels (Nationals and Juniors). The Club Excellence program was started by USA Swimming in 2000 as a way for clubs to measure their success against others.
