Team Volunteer Requirement

**UPDATE FOR  THE 2020-2021 SC SEASON: Due to the unpredictability of the event schedule this season, we will not require a set number of volunteer hours per family. Instead, we will require that each family volunteer in each Racer hosted meet your child(ren) participates in. The fine for not volunteering will be $50 per meet and will be charged on the billing cycle immediately following the meet.  Please contact us with any concerns or extenuating circumstances.

 

Volunteer Requirements:

Volunteers are essential to our organization. The support and dedication of our Racer parents and families play a significant role in the success of our home swim meets and other related activities. Volunteering helps bring our families together and leads to positive team culture. We want to encourage all Racer families to be involved at meets and team events by sharing the workload and responsibilities.

To ensure that all volunteer needs of the team are met, requirements for each family have been set based on practice location and/or training group as follows:

  • Benton, Bryant, and Little Rock Red and Black Team families are expected to volunteer a minimum of 20 hours per year.
  • Clarksville, Paragould, and Russellville Red and Black Team families are expected to volunteer a minimum of 15 hours per year.
  • El Dorado and Texarkana families are expected to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours per year.
  • ALL Yellow Team families are expected to volunteer a minimum of 5 hours per year.

All volunteer opportunities will be published via the online service hours tracking system within your Team Unify account, with hours worked documented as they are met. At times, other volunteer opportunities may become available. Please contact Monica at [email protected] for different ways to help. Families may opt-out for a fee of $500, payable at registration. Unworked hours will be billed at a rate of $25.00 per hour on August 1st.
