Island Swimming at Crystal
Pool
Tyee Aquatic Club
was established in 1998. TYEE is a growing young club dedicated to
development of swimmers at all levels and is a proud member of
Island Swimming.
Tyee competes at Regional meets
under their club name. However, at Provincial (AAA), National-level
and Invitational meets, we join forces with our sister clubs and
compete as Island Swimming. As an association, we take pride
in helping each other run successful and fun swim meets.
We are ’Committed to
Excellence’ providing an opportunity for each of our swimmers
to attain his or her maximum potential in competitive swimming. We
believe in a long-term approach to the sport, ensuring our athletes
continue with the club for many years. In the early years, we
emphasize fun, skill development and a love for swimming. In the
later years, the training schedule becomes more physically and
emotionally demanding.
