Swimming at Saanich Commonwealth Pool
The Victoria Amateur Swim
Club (VASC) is a non-profit society which has been proudly
developing young swimmers in Victoria for more than 90 years!
We are Committed to Excellence, providing each swimmer with the
opportunity to attain his or her maximum potential as a competitive
swimmer. VASC operates programs for swimmers of all ages at
the Saanich Commonwealth Games Pool, with qualified, professional
coaches guiding swimmers through the exciting world of competitive
swimming including in-water practices, dryland training and swim
meets.
We believe in a long-term development of young athletes. In the
early years, we emphasize fun, skill development and a love for
swimming. In the later years, the training schedule becomes more
physically and emotionally demanding.
