Volunteer Policy

VOLUNTEER POLICY

       The Corona Aquatics Team is a private, non-profit club that is supported by a volunteer base.  The Coaches and parent/guardians that are elected by the membership to serve on the Board of Directors help provide the leadership for the club.  Our team is then further dependent on each family to help with a variety of events, including swim meets, social events and other special activities throughout the year to support the swimmers and the team. Therefore, the following volunteer policy is in effect. 

       Each family must volunteer for a minimum of 12 hours per calendar year to help support the team.  These hours can be completed by assisting at swim meets (home or away), volunteering time to help organize or run team fundraising events, by serving on committees, or through assisting with other team functions.  If the hours are not completed within the calendar year, they are billed to the family’s account at a rate of $20.00/hour not worked.
