Winskill Dolphins have provided swimmers a competitive edge for
over 15 years. We are a year round opportunity for Ladner and
Tsawwassen children, teens and university students to develop
swimming, fitness and healthy living skills.
WDSC offers programming for all levels from
beginners to advanced competitive training. Our team also has
social activities, team functions as well as travel opportunities
to other parts of Canada, the United States and beyond through
competition and training camps. Each of our programs include
developing competitive swimming skills, dry land exercises and
mental skill work based on the age and level of the athlete.
We offer programs that focus on Competitive Swimming between
3:30 to 7:30 each weekday out of Winskill Aquatic and Fitness
Centre in Tsawwassen. Consider our club to keep your kids active
and fit after school each day or as conditioning for other sports!
Our team has a rich tradition of swimming excellence. Winskill
swimmers have won titles and set records at provincial, collegiate
and national championships as well as representing Canada at the
2005 World Aquatic Championships in Montreal, the 2006 Commonwealth
Games in Melbourne, Australia, and the 2007 World University Games
located in Bangkok, Thailand, the 2008 World Triathlon
Championships and the 2009 Canad Games.
The Winskill program is an
independently operating club, however are also affiliated with the
UBC Dolphins. Winskill Dolphins, as well as other organizations -
UBC
Thunderbirds , Canadian Dolphins and Vancouver
Pacific Swim Club - come together at Provincial and National
level meets to compete as one team. This affiliation allows us
access to the resources of the UBC program as well as increased
opportunities for the swimmers to achieve the highest level of
swimming excellence throughout the season.
Our Junior Dolphin program for 11 & Under novice swimmers
runs throughout the calendar year, registration information can be
