MARLINS TEAM
APPAREL
The coaches are all very excited about the new
season approaching and they are really wanting to create a team
atmosphere among all of the Marlin swimmers. So, in the
spirit of being a team the coaches are asking that every swimmer
purchase the minimum equipment package, to wear at meets.
This minimum equipment package includes the
following: A newly designed swim cap and t-shirt
as well as the existing swim
suit. In addition to the minimum package, all
interested families may purchase other Marlin
apparel.
Drag suits will be phased in over the year and
they will not be required at this time.
Optional
team apparel consists of
Marlin fleece jacket, sweatpants, (new) sweatshirt. You
will be given an order form at registration on September
8th & 9th.

Marlins Swimming
Apparel
The Marlins Swim
Team has changed to a new swim suit supplier: Swim
’N Surf of Fairfield.
Swim ’n’
Surf is going to be at the YMCA (pool deck) on Wednesday,
September 16 and Thursday, September 17 from 3:30 to
7:00pm. Team suit try-on will take
place at this time as well as orders taken for the Marlin swimsuits
and caps. The suits are the same as last year but the cap is
not. The new cap is different in color and one of better
quality. It will be offered in silicone and latex.
All swimmers
must wear the team suit (same as last year’s) & new team
cap at all swim meets.
Please note that the
swimsuits will be custom printed and cannot be returned or
exchanged once ordered. Please make sure
of the correct size before ordering.
Parents of new or
young swimmers should be aware that racing suits are normally worn
with a snugger fit (smaller) than practice suits to avoid causing a
drag on the swimmer which can affect the swimmers’ race
speed.
