Cathy Snider Brewton
Cathy began competitive swimming at age nine in northern California. She moved to Little Rock in 1966 where she competed for the YMCA and later for the Little Rock Racquet Club. Cathy held over 25 state and region records, competing a variety of meets, including the Junior Olympic Championships. In 1967, she became the first Arkansas women to break one minute in the 100-yard freestyle. Cathy held over 11 state records in Junior and Senior High School State Championship meets. She currently resides in Houston, Texas.
