Registration for 2009-2010 Short Course Season

Starts August 5, 2009 for Current Swimmers &

Starts September 9^th for New Swimmers

• To guarantee placement in a training group, a completed and paid registration form for any “current” Tsunami swimmer must be to the club no later than Friday, September 4^th.
• Mail completed registration form and payment to Sylvania Tsunami Swim Club, P.O. Box 268, Sylvania, OH 43560.
• No registrations will be processed without payment.
• Please see Training Groups Information under the "How to Join" tab for details on the 10 available training groups and fee schedules.
• Note that space is limited in each training group, so early registration is imperative for interested current swimmers.
• Our coaches have a training group recommendation for swimmers who swam with Tsunami in 2008-2009. For Stroke Development, Red, White and Blue Groups, please refer to the Fall/Winter Group Placements document for guidance. Senior level swimmers should contact Coach Chris Black (swimclb@msn.com or 419-559-9255) regarding his/her training group.
• If your name does not appear in the above mentioned Fall Winter Group Placements document, please contact Coach Chris Black directly regarding your training group.
• Starting in the fall, EACH training group level offers two levels of training and competition commitments: Group A (advanced) and Group B (basic). Swimmers who are interested in Group A training must contact Coach Chris Black before registering.

• New Swimmer Tryouts will take place on Wednesday, September 9^th and Thursday, September 10^th at Northview High School Natatorium at 6:00pm.
• You only need to attend one evening.
• Please come prepared for an in-water evaluation with one of our coaches.
• A deposit of $200 (used toward team dues) is required at the New Swimmer Tryouts.
• Each swimmer’s training group will be determined during the individual tryout.
• Swimmers will be contacted by our coaching staff on Friday, September 11^th regarding their training group placement on the Tsunami Swim Team.
• The balance due for each swimmer will be collected at the first practice, on Monday September 14th.
• Registration forms are available online and will be also be available that evening.
• A Parent Information Meeting and Swimsuit Fittings will take place on each night.
