Barbara Coats, President
Barbara Coats has served on the Dynamo Board of Directors since 2012 and is currently the Board President. Previously, she served as Chair of Dynamo’s Finance Committee and as Treasurer. Barbara is a CPA and is an owner of Atlanta-based CPA firm Windham Brannon. Barbara and her husband Bill have two children. Their daughter Sarah began swimming in Dynamo’s lesson pool and continued through the Senior 1 group. Sarah is currently a swimmer for Davidson College. Barbara is also an official for USA Swimming.
Mona Murraty, Vice-President
Mona is a Senior Manager of Client Services for ADP and is responsible for the management of multi-service client portfolio for National Account Clients. Mona has served on the Dynamo Board since 2013 and is a leader on the National Meet Committee and is a USA Swimming official. Mona started swimming at age 9 in Merritt Island, Florida and continued her swimming career at Rollins College, Fl. Mona and her husband Darren have two girls Cali and Brandi and have resided in Alpharetta since 1998.
Jun X. Xiao, Treasurer
Jin's family joined Dynamo since 2008 when Nathan was five. Now he is in SR 2. Jun had over 15 years experience as a tax professional. She has involved lots of volunteer at school when her two kids attended there. She is the treasurer for her homeowner subdivision since 2008. Now, she serves as a financial leader in Atlanta Zhejiang Association, a not-for-profit organization, provides support to needy children in Zhejiang, China. Both her and her husband grew up in China, and they live in Alpharetta.
Alex Whelan, Secretary
The Kintz family joined Dynamo in 1999, when Ed Spencer invited Emily to join the club at the DeKalb County Championships. Emily moved up through each group until she reached the Chamblee SR1 group in 2005, where she currently swims when she is home. Emily is now 22, swims for Duke University, and is a senior. Doug started volunteering for Dynamo as a timer at meets, and then moved on to be a swimming official in 2004. He moved up the swim official’s ladder watching Emily’s meets from on deck. He has worked sessions as an official at meets that go from our local Dynamo meets to the USA Swimming National Championships.
Doug is married to Laura, who he met in high school, for 30 years. Emily is our only child. We live in Tucker where we both went to high school. Doug graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Management and from the University of Georgia with a Masters of Accountancy. Doug has worked both Accounting and IT jobs during my career, I am currently the Data Base Administrator at PS Energy. Doug has volunteered with his local church, being a Sunday School teacher and on the church board. Laura has had many positions at churches, from teacher, trainer, to Christian Education Director. Laura also teaches piano lessons.
Tanya is CEO of SOON (Something out of Nothing) Ventures, a business development and management consulting company which she founded in 2000. She has worked with over 1,500 entities offering a full portfolio of consulting services that include: strategic analysis for use in shifting a company to sustained profitability and healthy cash flow that can eventually be sold, as well as management consulting, strategic planning, internal controls/fraud analysis, and assistance in buying/selling companies. In addition, she has worked with several non-profits in the financial and marketing areas. She is a member of Dynamo Multisport group.
Gina Cook has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years. She has most recently worked as a program manager for HPE focused on support automation. Her son, Cooper joined Dynamo 2 years ago and swims in AG1 Gold, Alpharetta. Gina has a BA in management from Kennesaw State University where she played basketball 4 years for the lady fighting owls. She also holds a Masters in Teaching. Gina co-manages the Edenwilde summer swim team which has over 160 members. She is currently the VP of academic affairs on the Elkins Pointe PTSA. She and her husband Mike are Georgia natives and reside in Roswell with their two children, Cooper and Chandler.
Tim Goudie joined The Coca-Cola Company in 2001 in Strategic Brand Marketing in Toronto, Canada. His experience includes Sports Marketing where he managed the NBA, FIFA, EURO, Olympic Games and Rugby World Cup for the Asia Pacific Region. He also contributed to the establishment of the first Global Digital Marketing Department at The Coca-Cola Company. Between 2009 and 2011 he was based out of Cairo, Egypt which just happened to coincide with the “Arab Spring”, lots of tear gas, Twitter and Tahrir Square”.
Tim is currently Director of Social Commitment for the Coca-Cola North America Business Unit. In this role he is responsible for improving the transparency and availability of product & ingredient information to consumers for their entire portfolio of over 500+ brands.
On the swimming side Tim is the parent of Nicholas Goudie who is currently in Senior 1 Chamblee. Over the last six years Tim has been actively involved as a volunteer usually as time keeper in soggy shoes. He has chaperoned many travel trips across the South East learning how to cater snacks and beverages to “starving children” in groups ranging from 16 to 60. For the last three years Tim has been a USA Swimming Official, Stroke & Turn Judge and can usually be found at swim meets at Dynamo Chamblee in a white uniform
