Effective
Thursday, April 2, 2009, no child under the age of 14 is allowed in
the pool area unless they are accompanied by their parent/guardian
or they are attending a swim practice or swimming lesson.
Children under 14 years of age that are attending swim practice
will be able to enter the natatorium at most, 15 minutes prior to
their age group training session and must check in with their coach
for instructions on that days training
program.
Our
Katy Aquatics coaches will be acting as the pool supervisors and be
enforcing this policy on behalf of Katy ISD and Katy
Aquatics. All of the coaches have been trained by Katy
ISD on safety and operation guidelines and are well prepared to
assist in any type of emergency that could arise at the pools that
we use. Anyone 14 years of age and older is welcome to view
practices from the bleacher area at any
time.
Failure to follow
this policy may result in the loss of some or all of the privileges
listed above.
