Diving Coaches: The Katy Aquatics Diving program
is coached by two outstanding divers, Coach Max Weyermann and Coach
Rachel Ware.
Max is a former Katy
Aquatics diver as well as a Taylor High School graduate. During his
high school years at Taylor, Max enjoyed much success as a
district, regional and state diving champion. Max also received
extensive training at the Woodlands Diving Club and eventually went
on to dive at the University of Indiana. As a top ranked national
diver, Max has been a member of the National Diving Team and has
trained with the United States Olympic team as well. Early in his
college experience, a shoulder injury ended his competitive diving
career and Olympic hopes. He has received world class coaching and
is back in Katy to share what he has learned with our young
athletes.
