Interested in joining Team YES!:
 
Group Training
For swimmers who have knowledge of all four strokes.
  • In water evaluation required.
    • Check the team's practice calendar for evaluation schedule and locations.
    • Bring swimmer ready to swim.
    • Coaches will observe swimmer in water, all four strokes will be evaluated.
    • Coaches will place swimmer in proper group based on evaluation.
  • Use our Online Registration to register swimmer with the team.
  • Review the Team YES! Equipment List and other important documentation in our Documents section.
  • Bring required documentation and payment to first day of practice.  All required documents can be found in our Documents section.
    • ACH Form - One per family
    • A voided check attached to the ACH Form.
    • Medical Information Form - One per swimmer.
    • Initial payment in the form of a check or cash:
      • Annual registration fee
      • USA Swimming membership fee
      • Monthly tuition - based on group placement
  • You swimmer is ready to swim!
Beginner Group
For swimmers who have no experience swimming or have not yet mastered all four strokes.
  • In water evaluation may be needed, the coaches will make that determination.
    • Check the team's practice calendar for evaluation schedule and locations.
    • Bring swimmer ready to swim.
    • Coaches will observe swimmer in water if an in water evaluation is needed.
    • Coaches will decide if swimmer is a candidate for the Beginner Group.  Decision will be based on, but not limited to, the following criteria:
      • Age of swimmer - Swimmer must be at least 4 years of age and out of diapers.
      • Swimmer's ability to follow verbal instructions in English.
      • Swimmer's initial reaction to the water.
      • Coaches' experience and knowledge of swimming in general.
  • If swimmer is deemed a candidate for the Beginner Group, available calendar spots will be determined and selected.
  • Use our Online Registration to register swimmer with the team.
  • Review important documentation in our Documents section.
  • Bring required documentation and payment to first day of practice.  All required documents can be found in our Documents section.

Other Important Information
Additional information you might find helpful.
  • Team YES! accepted payment type:
    • All payments are made via Direct Debit otherwise known as ACH.
    • Payments will be automatically deducted each month on or about the 2nd of the month.
    • Paper checks or cash will only be accepted for initial payment when joining the team.
    • No credit card payments can be accepted at this time.
    • There are NO EXCEPTIONS to the team's payment policy.
       
  • Does or did your swimmer swim for another USA Swimming team?
    • Summer League teams do not count as they are not USA Swimming teams.
    • If swimmer competed for another team in a USA Swimming sanctioned meet then swimmer will compete with Team YES! as an unattached swimmer until 120 days have passed since last meet competed for previous team.  Once the 120 day transfer period has expired then swimmer will swim as attached to Team YES!.
    • A transfer form must be filled out to make transfer official.  Email the Team YES! Registrar at registrar@teamyes.net for an updated form.
